i have a tendency to break up and then go for a fairly long period of time to make up on a different level… as friends, better than ever at that. it’s always been the case with the majority of my exes. the ones that i truly cared about anyway.

i’ve been all about making amends these past couple of months and i really accomplished a huge amendment this week. remember the best guy friend that turned into a romance gone horribly wrong? yea, well that was one of the biggest mistakes of my life and i had regrets until this day. thanks to my best friend coaxing me to text him happy holidays, i received a much delayed, but pleasant response…

i’m never one to make the same mistake twice so we will keep things how they were meant to be - as good friends and nothing more. the thought of that made my week :)
